to fully enjoy the summer heat, what else could anyone think of other than the beach..?! so there we went! and planned consuming the whole day at it..
but before heading to the beach club, the driver offered to drop us at Alegre Guitars since it's along the way.. here we saw handcrafted guitars being made intricately for export using materials that are locally available..
this family-owned guitar factory is already in its third generation of proprietorship.. their guitars are known to produce good acoustic timbre..
after just a few shots, we then went straight to Cebu Beach Club where we had our water sports arranged by Aqua Marine Tours.. the package included day tour entrance to the club, round trip hotel transfers, meal set for two and the water sports itself..
the highlight of this experience was the Seawalker or more commonly known as Helmet Diving or Reef Walking.. this is where you get to wear a 36-kilo helmet and walk on the ocean floor without getting your hair wet! you will be consuming the oxygen effusing into the helmet from a tube pipe..
we fed the fishes with crackers that were provided by the staff.. they can also provide unlimited underwater pictures using a digital camera for the price of P1200 including the cd.. since we do not know this, we have already bought a disposable camera beforehand for P600 with 24 shots.. and the staff did a great job of taking our pictures in or out of the water.. :)
this activity lasts only for 30 minutes.. after that, you can snorkel and swim to your heart's content..
a hearty lunch is served as soon as you're ready to leave the ocean..
again, puso is inevitable in every Cebuano dish.. :)
we also tried dipping into their pool when the beach went low tide on the latter part of the day..
since dusk is getting near, we went back to the hotel to change our outfit to prepare ourselves for dinner..

the restaurant of choice was AA BBQ.. the price was reasonable.. it costs us P600 because we really ordered lots of food.. (food served on the table not yet complete) i suggest having the tutti-frutti juice that they have where fruit slices (apple and mango) lovingly get in the way of your every gulp..! :)
since we still have lots of time, we managed to stroll around Fuente Osmena Circle to buy pasalubong such as dried mangoes, rosquillos, otap, peanut kisses and the likes at Shamrock.. we opted not to buy the danggit and other forms of dried fish or squid there because it would be cheaper to buy them in the market where they are originally sold..
and that concludes our second day in Cebu.. ^___^
