Boholicious Escapade

Years ago, there was one person who has been asking me to go to Bohol. At my knowledge that time, Bohol for me is just a field of green and it took a while before people I encounter have been telling about it's pristine beauty. On March 2012, we have been witnesses of it's natural wonders as we were able to experience the relaxation it can offer to travelers.

with the help of Mr. Google, i tracked my itineraries like this so that i could have a sense of direction while travelling.. the map showed that we would be spending most of our time on the southern part of the island, thus our place of stay should be situated nearby.. and we were able to find Cherry's Home..

DAY 1 - CHILLAX MODE

check out my review on TripAdvisor
since we arrived there at 5pm, we spent the remaining hours of the day by checking out the beach that is only around 5-10minutes walk from our hotel..

Alona Beach. Photos by JPDG.

At night time, Alona Beach has a Boracay feel to it - restaurants along the shore with party music. The downside however is that there are no waves so we did not feel like swimming on it. We opted to have a snack with variety of barbecue such as hotdogs, pork, chicken, longganisa and internal organs. :) Since we still need to fill up ourselves, we then retracted back to the market place where there are cheaper stalls of food for dinner, and we were not wrong about it. We've found the best tasting liempo on earth! It was so good that we had two consecutive dinner here, and we highly recommend Pernia's Dine and Grill..

Their very tasty liempo is the result of grilling the chicken on top of it such that the chicken oil would drip down the liempo as they are both cooked together. Such a brilliant flavorful idea.

We capped off the night with a drinking session and small chit-chat. And here are your casts.

Hong Kong

on July 2011, we finally had a chance to travel the most sought after family travel destination in Asia -- Hong Kong.. this was a family treat by our youngest brother for all of us since it was also his 24th birthday..

upon arrival, we were greeted by the astonishing sight of the gigantic cranes in the runway as well as with the towering buildings at the entry point from airport road to the main land.. at that time it was hard to take pictures because of our fast-moving vehicle, and the best thing to do was to lean back and savor the moment.. i guarantee, this is a great part of HK you should not miss..

we were then brought to our place of stay at Silka Hotels.. the accommodation here was nice and simple, and the customer service was excellent..
